Poker player Mark Jansen won big after he lost $1.5 million on a strip poker game, according to a report from PokerStars.
The $1,300 winnings is the biggest poker win ever made in a poker game and the highest in a single poker tournament, according the Associated Press.
“Mark is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet,” PokerStars CEO Gary Johnson said in a statement.
Jansen said he was so excited when he heard about the winnings he didn’t think about it too much.
He said he’s going to keep playing and that he’s trying to get better every week, but he won’t give up.
Jansen is one of many poker players to be rewarded for losing in the poker tournament.
PokerStars and the Associated Images Network, a subsidiary of CBS Interactive, announced earlier this year that they would pay poker players up to $100,000 in prize money if they win at least $2 million in poker tournaments.
PokerStars also recently added a $10,000 bonus for winning $500 or more.
